Rental Policies

Secure Tap Rentals | St. Louis metro and Branson

We want you to know what to expect before your rental. Call or text 314-502-9977 with the equipment you need, your dates, and your hotel, residence, or other proposed delivery location. We personally confirm availability, the rental details, and the total price. After confirmation, we send a secure form to review and sign the full Rental Agreement and make payment.

Reservations and payment

Selecting a location or equipment on our website does not reserve an item or show live inventory. A rental is arranged with Secure Tap Rentals directly and is subject to equipment and delivery availability. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due when your rental is scheduled. Payment reserves the equipment for the agreed rental period.

Cancellation and refunds

We understand emergencies happen and may offer an additional refund, credit, or other accommodation at our discretion, case by case. Approved refunds generally go back to the original payment method; the time for funds to appear depends on the payment processor or your financial institution.

Delivery, pickup, and changes

We arrange free scheduled delivery and pickup at a hotel, residence, or another location agreed with you in the St. Louis metro or Branson service area. We confirm the handoff and pickup plan with you. We do not arrange handoffs at attractions, America's Center, or the Gateway Arch grounds; a nearby hotel or another agreed location may be more convenient.

Need equipment today? Same-day requests may be possible when the item and a delivery window are available. We will confirm the total before you decide. Extensions require our approval and may have an additional charge; please contact us before your scheduled return.

Equipment care and assistance

Use the equipment as instructed and stay within its stated weight and operating limits. Charge powered mobility equipment nightly with its supplied charger, and stop using any item that appears unsafe or is malfunctioning. Call or text us promptly about a problem so we can discuss troubleshooting, service, replacement when available, or an appropriate credit or refund for a qualifying malfunction under the Rental Agreement.

You are responsible for the equipment until it is returned or made available for pickup as agreed. Lost, stolen, damaged, or unreturned equipment and accessories may result in charges under the Rental Agreement. The agreement lists a $75 replacement charger, $25 replacement key, and a $50 service call that may apply to certain avoidable renter-caused problems. A service call for a malfunction during normal and proper use is not subject to that negligence-related service-call charge.

Optional damage waiver

The optional waiver is $40 per mobility scooter or $25 per wheelchair. For qualifying accidental physical damage, its maximum benefit is $450 per covered scooter or $350 per covered wheelchair. It is not insurance. It does not cover every loss or charge; exclusions include theft or loss, missing accessories, intentional or negligent misuse, and damage from use contrary to instructions or equipment limits. The full coverage conditions and exclusions appear in the Optional Damage Waiver Terms you can review before choosing it in the rental form.

We do not accept health insurance for rentals.

The rental-specific details and full terms are presented in the Rental Agreement we send after confirming your reservation. Please review them before signing and paying. Questions? Call or text 314-502-9977.
